Star Wars fans can watch Star Wars films on select nights in May at the Disneyland Resort hotels to celebrate Star Wars Month.The resort hasn’t specified which hotels or days the movies will be playing.Kicking off on May 1, Star Wars Month will include the return of Hyperspace Mountain, “epic encounters,” special Star Wars Month merchandise and themed food and beverage items, according to Disneyland officials. CinemaCon is underway in Las Vegas.The convention is the largest gathering of movie theater owners from around the world. Attendees on Tuesday got a chance to see the highly anticipated DC Film, "The Flash," two months before it hits theaters. Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav said the film was "the best superhero movie I’ve ever seen," according to The Hollywood Reporter. He's seen it about three times. The film stars Ezra Miller as The Flash, Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck both play different versions of Batman and Sashe Calle plays Supergirl. Miller's transgressions off-screen did spark controversy. He's been charged with theft and physical assault. He reportedly apologized to Warner Bros. execs, promising to get his life together. Male Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Fatal Accident near Kentridge DriveSAN JOSE, CA (April 26, 2023) – Tuesday night, a man was fatally injured in a pedestrian collision on North White Road.First responders arrived to the scene around 6:15 p.m., near Kentridge Drive after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.Per reports, the driver of a northbound grey 2001 Chevrolet PT Cruiser veered into the southbound lanes for reasons unknown. As a result, the driver struck a pedestrian that was standing in the bike lane, waiting to cross the street.Responding personnel transported the male pedestrian to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Motorcycle Officer Hospitalized after a Collision near Odlum DriveINDIO, CA (April 26, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, an Indio police officer sustained injuries in a motorcycle collision on Jackson Street.Authorities responded to the scene on April 15th, at around 3:30 p.m., near the Indian Palms Country Club and Resort.According to reports, the officer was on traffic duty when he was involved in a vehicle collision. OAKLAND — A man found dead Wednesday morning in a doorway to a vacant Chinatown business had major trauma to his body, and the death is being investigated as a homicide, authorities said.Authorities are trying to identify the man, who might be unhoused.An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death.The man was found dead about 7:33 a.m. in the doorway to a vacant business in the 300 block of Tenth Street at Harrison Street.The man may have been sleeping in the doorway when he was attacked, as numerous pieces of cardboard that he may have been lying on or using for warmth could be seen at the site.
